Module 3: 4 Levels of Learning

This module re-imagines Kirkpatrick’s 4 Levels of Learning Model through the lens of organizational culture. It helps facilitators and leaders measure progress not just by what modules people complete, but by how learning becomes culture—how results, behaviors, learning, and reactions connect to shape a learning organization.

Each lesson builds on the last to explore how meaningful change takes root across time, people, and systems. You’ll learn to look beneath visible results to understand the behaviors, shared learning, and emotional climate that make culture growth possible and sustainable.

I Will Learn How To:

  • Understand how the Four Levels of Learning (Results, Behavior, Learning, Reaction) reveal different dimensions of culture change.
  • Recognize that reactions and emotions are valuable data about trust, readiness, and engagement.
  • Support staff in moving from understanding to application, turning shared learning into daily behaviors.
  • Track progress through both measurable and narrative outcomes, connecting early insights to long-term impact.
  • Facilitate reflection conversations that balance accountability with curiosity, helping people see how culture grows over time.
